Exodus 15:26
…I am the Lord who heals you.”
Do you know
that the first compound name that the Lord revealed to the Israelites after
they came out of Egypt was Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you? It was as if
He was telling them, as they began their new life with Him, that He had already
healed them of all the diseases and pains they suffered when they were in
bondage in Egypt. Indeed, when He brought them out of Egypt, “there was none
feeble among His tribes”. (Psalm 105:37)
Today, just
as the Israelites were delivered from their bondage in Egypt and from slavery
to Pharaoh, you have also been delivered from the bondage of sin and sickness,
and from slavery to the devil, by the blood of the Lamb. And the Lord, who is
the same yesterday, today and forever, still says to you, “I am the Lord who
heals you.”
A church
member, who was experiencing pain in her womb for several months, looked to
Jesus as her healer even as she went to see a doctor, who performed an
ultrasound scan on her womb. When told that she had two big tumors and several
blood cysts in her womb, she continued to look to Jesus as her healer. The
doctor then had her blood tested to see if the tumors were cancerous.
Three days
later, she saw the doctor again and was told that the tumors were not
cancerous. Not only that, but a second ultrasound scan also showed that all the
cysts and one of the tumors had completely disappeared! The other tumor had
also shrunk. Although she had taken medication, the doctor told her that based
on the original size of the tumor, it should have taken months to shrink that
much. He commented that this was the quickest healing he had ever seen!
Beloved, if
the doctor has given you a bad report regarding your health, don’t despair.
Look to Jesus and expect healing for your body. He is the same yesterday, today
and forever. He is still Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals you!
Thought For The Day
Look to
Jesus and expect healing for your body. He is still the Lord who heals you!
Safe and Secure

So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly
say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or
dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?
—Hebrews 13:6 AMPC
—Hebrews 13:6 AMPC
A confident person feels safe. He
believes he is loved, valuable, cared for, and protected by God’s will for him.
When we feel safe and secure, it’s easy to step out and try new things.
During the initial construction on the
Golden Gate Bridge, no safety devices were used, and twenty-three men fell to
their deaths. For the final part of the project, however, a large net was used
as a safety precaution. Twenty-five percent more work was accomplished after
the net was installed. Why? Because the men had the assurance of their safety,
so they were free to wholeheartedly serve the project.
When people feel safe, they are free to
take a chance on failing in order to try to succeed. As children of God, we are
safe and secure, knowing God loves us and has a good plan for our lives.
Therefore, we can live with thanksgiving and confidence as we step out boldly
each and every day.
Prayer of Thanks: I thank You, God, that You are always there to catch me
when I fall. Today, I choose to live with confidence because I know I am safe
and secure in Your love. I know nothing will happen to me that I can’t handle
because You are with me.
He'll Get You Back on Track

TODAY'S
SCRIPTURE:
"Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach
me Your paths."
Psalm 25:4, NKJV
Psalm 25:4, NKJV
TODAY'S WORD:
Like most cars today, I have a
navigation system. I can program it to take me to a certain location. All along
the way, the announcer will give me instructions, “Turn left in a quarter of a
mile. Take this freeway three miles. Exit in one mile.” But sometimes I don’t
follow the directions. I may miss a turn, stop to get gas or go another way.
The announcer doesn’t come on and start yelling at me and say, “What in the
world are you doing? I told you to turn left! You ruined my plan.” No, the
moment I get off course that GPS system immediately starts recalculating
another plan. Within a few seconds, it will give me new directions.
It’s the same way with God. When you have a heart to please Him, you may miss an exit, you may make a wrong turn, but God has already recalculated another route. He’s still going to get you to where you’re supposed to be. He loves you with an everlasting love, and when you seek Him with your whole heart, no matter where you are in life, He’ll get you back on track!

PRAYER FOR
TODAY:
Father God, show me Your path, teach me
Your ways. My heart’s deepest desire is to know You and to be known by You. You
are my King, and I humbly submit my ways to You. Thank You for Your goodness
and faithfulness in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Wherever Jesus Is
By DR.
David Jeremiah - June 5, 2017
From that time Jesus
began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Matthew 4:17
Matthew 4:17
Recommended Reading: Colossians 1:13-14
A large golden eagle with
the letters SPQR (Senatus Populus que
Romanus—Senate and People of Rome) engraved beneath it could only mean
one thing in the ancient world: You were inside the boundaries of the Roman
Empire. Wherever the Roman Standard appeared, the authority of Rome ruled.
The same is true of Jesus
and the kingdom of heaven: Wherever Jesus is, heaven—the eternal kingdom of
God—is present. When Jesus began His ministry, His first message was, “Repent,
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” How could that be? There was no change
in the city of Jerusalem; Jesus had no armies or royal retinue; Rome was still
ruling Palestine. Jesus could say that the kingdom of heaven was present
because He, the king, was present. Jesus said
that heaven—eternal life—begins when we know God through knowing Him (John
17:3). Yes, Christ will be present when the eternal kingdom is revealed
(Revelation 5:6-14). But if you are His, you are in His kingdom—now and for all
eternity.
Jesus prayed for
heaven—God’s kingdom and will—to be realized on earth as well as in heaven
(Matthew 6:10). Don’t wait to enjoy heaven. Live in its fullness today.
Communion with God is
the beginning of heaven.
