SEEK GOD’S KINGDOM AND HE WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS

By Joseph Prince – Posted July 03, 2017

Romans 14:17
…the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness an peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Are you troubled by many things today? For example, are you concerned about your rebellious teenager? Perhaps you see him as your problem, so you do your best to discipline him, only to end up with a heart full of worries and pain. And he is no better!

God says to you, “Don’t focus on controlling your rebellious teenager. Instead, seek first My kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Be conscious of the righteousness you have as a gift from My Son. Keep your inner man flowing with My peace and joy, and I will take care of your child.”

We tend to think that the people around us are the problem. When we don’t get the promotion we want, we blame our bosses and colleagues. When we lose our temper, we blame our wives and kids. However, God wants us to stop looking outside and to start looking within because His kingdom is within us. (Luke 17:21)

The abundance of the kingdom of God is already inside you. As you seek first God’s kingdom, and follow His righteousness, peace and joy, the abundance within you will flow out and become a reality in your circumstances. (Matthew 6:33) You will find that God has not only taken care of what is troubling you, but has also added blessings to you, be it a promotion, well-behaved kids or a loving wife.

“But Pastor Prince, how do I keep my inner man flowing with righteousness, peace and joy?”

Be conscious of your righteousness in Christ. Don’t be conscious of your sins and problems. Listen to anointed sermons that remind you of how righteous you are because of the perfect sacrifice of Christ. Peace and joy flow when you know that all your sins have been forgiven because of Jesus’ finished work.

So the next time something troubles you, don’t focus on correcting the problem. Instead, seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness. Make it a priority to have your inner man flowing with His peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you!

Thought For The Day
Have your inner man flowing with God’s peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you.

Heavy With Favor
By Joel Osteen – Posted July 03, 2017

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

"Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you."
(Isaiah 60:1, NKJV)

TODAY'S WORD:

Notice that today’s verse doesn’t say that the glory of the Lord is going to come on you one day. It doesn’t say, “Maybe when the economy gets better, when you graduate from college, or when you get that good break.” No, it says God’s glory is already on you!

The word “glory” in the original language indicates that God’s favor, blessing and splendor is on you in a heavy way. It’s something that is tangible and has weight. Think about it this way: You are not less than, intimidated or weak; you are heavy with God’s favor. You are dripping with God’s goodness. Your attitude should be, “There’s no telling what’s in my future! I am weighted down, not with burdens, not with problems. I am weighted down with the favor of God.”

When you really understand that you are heavy with favor, then it’s easy to be heavy with expectation. It’s easy to believe for big things when you know God has favored you in a big way. It’s time for you to arise. It’s time for you to shine. Let that sink down into your spirit today because it’s time for you to arise and shine because His glory, His favor is heavy upon you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, I come to You today with an open and humble heart. I know that Your glory is upon me. I thank You for Your favor upon me, and I thank You for Your anointing power which breaks every yoke and moves me into freedom and blessing in Jesus’ name. Amen.

His Peace, My Responsibility
By Joyce Meyer - Posted July 03, 2017

Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
—John 14:27

Perhaps you have never thought about how important it is to manage your emotions. I imagine we all think, I can’t help how I act when I am having a hard time. That is a normal human reaction, but with God on your side helping you, you don't have to behave the way a “normal” person would.
It is obvious from Jesus’ words in John 14:27 that He desires for you to have wonderful peace, but please notice He is also giving you a responsibility. He wants you to choose to control the negative emotions that can steal your peace. You cannot always control your circumstances, but you can control yourself with God's help.
Power Thought: God has given me His peace, and I will walk in it.

Desired
By DR. David Jeremiah – Posted July 3, 2017
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.
Jeremiah 1:5
Recommended Reading: Psalm 139
David was forgotten. Instead of being summoned to join his father and brothers when they met with Samuel, he was left in the field tending sheep. David was only sent for after God had confirmed, one by one, that none of his brothers would be the next king. Gideon was hiding from the enemy when God called him to be a mighty warrior. God knew Gideon, his strengths and weaknesses, and what he was capable of with God’s strength.
Regardless of your current situation, God sees you. Whether you are tending sheep or serving in the king’s court, you are not overlooked. God has not forgotten you and knows your purpose. If you are feeling stuck or unsure, look to God. He has made each of us with unique strengths and weaknesses, even if we cannot see or articulate them.
Depend on Him for meaning, purpose, and insight into your strengths and weaknesses. You exist because He thought of you, formed you, and gave you life. Our best course of action is to trust in our loving Creator.

A humble person is not one who thinks little of himself, hangs his head and says “I am nothing.” Rather, he is someone who depends wholly on the Lord for everything, in every circumstance.
David Wilkerson
