Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more
than conquerors through Him who loved us.
If God’s
Word says that we are more than conquerors through Christ, then we are. We are
not going to become, we already are. We may be experiencing some failures or
setbacks in life right now, but only good will come out of our situations
because God says that “in all these things we are more than conquerors”. We have
the victory!
You see, God
has placed us in Christ, whom He has exalted to the highest place in the
universe. We are not trying to get to victory ground. We are already on victory
ground. We don’t confess God’s Word to get victory. We confess His Word because
we already have the victory. We don’t fight for victory. We fight from
victory.
The devil
will try to steal our victory. He will come against us with lies and fears, and
cause us to be conscious of our failures, weaknesses and symptoms in areas such
as our health. But we are not trying to be healed. We are already healed
because God’s Word declares that “by His stripes we are healed”. (Isaiah 53:5)
A sister in
our church was seeing two psychiatrists. She had been under psychiatric care
and medication for panic attacks for the most part of her life. She said that
when she started coming to church and learning about Jesus, the truth of God’s
Word began to dawn on her.
She started
believing that victory over her condition was already hers and began confessing
it. From then on, all her fears were removed and her panic attacks ceased.
Today, she has a sound mind, is free from all medication and knows that her
life is greatly blessed through Jesus who loves her.
My friend,
the moment you accept Jesus as your Savior, you are born again and the new
person inside you is more than a conqueror. You are already on victory ground
and you have victory over every challenging situation in your life!
Thought For The Day
We don’t
fight for victory. We fight from victory.
Change
Your Environment
By Joel Osteen – Posted March 11, 2017
TODAY'S
SCRIPTURE:
“Very early in the
morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to
a solitary place, where he prayed."
Mark 1:35, NIV
Mark 1:35, NIV
TODAY'S
WORD:
Are you facing challenges today or
feeling overwhelmed by your circumstances? Perhaps what you see on the outside
doesn’t match what God has placed on the inside of you. The key is: don’t sit
around in self-pity, depressed or discouraged. Go out and find someplace you
can dream and connect with Almighty God. Go to the park and watch the sunset.
Look up at the stars and think about His goodness. Take a break from the
environment that seems to be holding you back. Find a place that inspires you,
a place where you can meditate on His Word and let your faith be elevated. Stay
in a good, Bible-based church where people are going to build you up and not
tear you down; a place where people are going to challenge you to rise higher
and become all that God has created you to be.
Some people get home from work every night and watch the same depressing TV shows week after week. Don’t let that be you! If you’re going to enlarge your vision, you’ve got to get out of a limited environment. Put yourself in an atmosphere of victory and success and move forward in the good things God has prepared for you!

PRAYER
FOR TODAY:
Father, today I choose to separate
myself from my circumstances and from my environment so I can set my heart and
mind on You. Show me Your ways. Reveal Your love to me. Give me Your vision of
victory for my future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Don't Fret—Rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord always…again I say, Rejoice!...Do not fret or
have any anxiety about anything, but in…everything, by prayer and petition…with
thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
—Philippians 4:4,6
—Philippians 4:4,6
Twice in this passage the apostle Paul
tells us to rejoice. He urges us not to fret or have any anxiety about anything
but to pray and give thanks to God in everything—not after everything is over.
If you wait until everything is perfect
before rejoicing and giving thanks you won't have much fun. Learning to enjoy
life even in the midst of trying circumstances is one way to develop spiritual
maturity.
Live in the fullness of the joy of the
Lord by finding something to be glad about besides your current circumstances.
You must learn to derive your happiness and joy from the Lord who lives inside
you.
Decide you will not fret or have
anxiety about anything but will give thanks and praise to God, rejoicing in Him
always.

Then the LORD saw that
the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the
thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Genesis 6:5
Genesis 6:5
In the days of Noah,
people’s imaginations were filled to the brim with lurid thoughts and vile
fantasies. This led to a sensualized culture that descended to such depths of
depravity that God washed it all away in a global flood. The human heart hasn’t
changed since the times of Noah, but our technology has advanced. Now we can
transfer our foulest fantasies to a billion screens, accessible with a touch of
a finger. Every day, new television programs, movies, and videos seek the shock
value of breaking new taboos and showing more graphic sex, torture, or violence
than the human mind can absorb.

Yes, there’s still wholesome
programming available, but it’s harder to find now. The danger of running into
the wrong stuff is frighteningly easy, especially for homes with small
children.
To avoid this trap, we
should carefully choose our entertainment selections. The Bible says, “Get rid
of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word
planted in you, which can save you” (James 1:21, NIV).
Every choice we make,
including how we are entertained, must be submitted to His lordship.
