...if you don’t see the blessings,...

BLESSED WHEREVER YOU ARE
By Joseph Prince – Posted March 18, 2017

Deuteronomy 28:3
“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

You may have heard of people who think that to have better “luck”, they have to move to a new home, work for a certain company or even migrate to another country.

The truth is that it is not the place that gets you the blessings, but whether God’s blessing is on you. And for you, child of God, you are already blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3) He has paid for your blessings with His blood. So the blessing is not on the land but on the man!

It was in the city of Jerusalem that Jesus was whipped, cursed and spat on. And it was outside the city on Calvary’s hill that He was pierced and crucified. That is why you are blessed in the city as well as outside in the country! In fact, you are blessed regardless of your location.

Perhaps you work in a non-Christian company and your boss doesn’t quite like you. In fact, he sometimes mistreats you. But God can still bless you in spite of your boss. You get blessed because you believe God for it. It has nothing to do with your boss or the company.

Why then don’t you seem to see the blessings?

My friend, if you don’t see the blessings, check what you have been believing and saying. Some people complain and blame everyone and everything around them—their parents, race, gender, environment and government—for their lack of blessings.

Beloved, I want you to believe and confess that you are blessed because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, not because you are of a certain race or work in a certain place.

It does not matter where you work or live, what color your skin is or what you do for a living. If God blesses you, you are blessed! And it is all because of Jesus. So say to yourself, “I am blessed wherever I am—blessed in the city, blessed in the country!”

Thought For The Day

God’s blessing is not on the land but on the man!

In Due Season
By Joel Osteen – Posted March 18, 2017

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

Then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
Leviticus 26:4, ESV

TODAY'S WORD:

God has set up times and seasons in our lives. It’s easy to get frustrated when our dreams aren’t coming to pass on our timetable, but every season is not harvest season. There are plowing seasons. There are planting seasons. There are watering seasons. Sure, we would love for every season to be a time of increase left and right, good breaks here and there. But without the other seasons, we wouldn’t be prepared. For example, it’s during the plowing seasons that God brings issues to light that we need to deal with. He’s getting us prepared for promotion.

If you’re not making as much progress as you would like, the key is to not lose any ground. Don’t go backwards. Hold your position. Keep a good attitude and do the right thing even when it’s hard. That's how you pass the test, Be encouraged because your appointed time of increase, favor and promotion is on its way. Your due season is coming!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, I bless You today. Thank You for preparing me for the blessing and promotion You have in my future. I surrender my heart, mind, will and emotions to You so that I can live as a testimony of Your work in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Give Your All to God
By Joyce Meyer - Posted March 18, 2017

Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
— Jeremiah 1:5

Every day you need to give yourself entirely to God. Say, "Lord, I am Yours. I want to be a vessel fit for Your use. I dedicate myself to You: I give You my hands, my mouth, my mind, my body, my money, and my time. Father, here I am. I am Yours; do with me whatever You want to do today."
Once you dedicate yourself to God, then go on about your business. But expect His leading all day long. Listen for His voice to direct you in the way you should go. Accept the challenge to be an instrument for the Lord's use today.

Spring Cleaning—Our Thought Lives

By DR. David Jeremiah – Posted March 18, 2017
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…
Romans 12:2
Inside your head is a three-pound lump of jellied cauliflower that, arguably, represents the crowning achievement of God’s creative genius. It contains billions of neurons, each as complex as a miniature computer. These neurons are interlinked in as many as a quadrillion synapses that work from the moment the mind develops in the womb until the day God takes us to heaven.
Recommended Reading: Ephesians 4:17-24
The brain isn’t just the headquarters of our personalities; it’s the battlefield for our souls. Every spiritual battle is won or lost in the mind, and that’s why it’s important to fill our minds with God’s Word. The Bible says, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit” (Romans 8:5).
It’s hard to control our minds, and we can’t do it alone. We need the Lord Jesus to come with His broom, dustpan, mop, and disinfectant. Our greatest obligation is to find, read, memorize, and meditate on the verses of Scripture He gives us.
Seek to have a “clean heart” (Psalm 51:10).
We cannot keep pure minds in our own strength. Instead, we need to rely on God’s wisdom, trusting Him to help us grow in the knowledge of God.
