Just because we don’t see a way doesn’t mean...

Whose Report Will You Believe?

By Joel Osteen – Posted March 2, 2017

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

"I have heard a report from the Lord…"
Jeremiah 49:14, AMP

TODAY'S WORD:

Every day, we get “reports” from the news, our experiences, our friends and family, and many other sources. We also get reports from the Word of God which oftentimes contradicts what others are saying. That’s when we have a choice: do we believe what we hear in the natural, or do we believe the report of the Lord?

Remember, we serve a supernatural God! Just because we don’t see a way doesn’t mean that He doesn’t have a way. God can bring one opportunity across your path that will thrust you to a new level. He has explosive blessings that can blast you out of debt and into abundance. “Well, I don’t think I’ll ever get well. You should see what the medical report says about me.” No, that may be true according to medical science, but we have another report and it says, “You will live and not die. God is restoring health unto you.” With men it may be impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Choose today to believe the report of the Lord. Stand strong no matter what is going on around you knowing that He is leading you into victory in every area of your life!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, I choose to believe Your Word above all else. I know that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf, and You will cause me to triumph. Help me to tune out the negative voices of the world so that I can focus on Your goodness all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

COVERED, PROTECTED, DELIVERED
By Joseph Prince – Posted March 2, 2017

Exodus 13:21
And the Lord went before them by day in pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.

When the children of Israel were wandering in the desert, God led them by going before them in a pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.

By day, God spread the pillar of cloud as a covering over His people in the desert to prevent the scorching sun from striking them down. The people were shaded and kept cool. Today, you are also under His covering. He will not allow you to be struck down (Psalm 121:3–8), nor be oppressed by the “heat” of the day. (Isaiah 54:14)

At night, when the desert became dark and cold, God gave His people the pillar of fire to light the way for them, as well as to keep them warm and safe. Today, as you walk with God, you will not be overwhelmed by the cold, dark places in life because God’s Word says, “You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.” (1 Thessalonians 5:5) You will not fear the terror by night or the pestilence that walks in darkness because God will deliver you from them. (Psalm 91:5–6)

Like the children of Israel, who only needed to look up, and keep their eyes on the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire, all you need to do today is to look up and keep your eyes on Jesus. When you need His direction for a situation, look to Jesus who has the words of eternal life. (John 6:68) When you see symptoms of sickness in your body, look to Jesus who has borne away every disease and physical affliction. (Matthew 8:17)

When the children of Israel were bitten by serpents in the desert, God told Moses to make a bronze serpent and put it on a pole—a picture of Christ being judged on the cross. (John 3:14) Those who looked at the bronze serpent instead of their wounds were healed. (Numbers 21:9) He who looks to Jesus lives!
Beloved, look to Jesus. He is your covering, protection and deliverance!

Thought For The Day

All you need to do today is to look up and keep your eyes on Jesus—your covering, protection and deliverance!

Start a Blessing Box
By Joyce Meyer - Posted March 02, 2017

Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.
—Deuteronomy 15:10 NIV

Here's an idea: Get yourself a big box and start going through your possessions, asking God to show you what you have that you can use to bless others. Fill it up with things that are nice but that you no longer need.
Look in cabinets, drawers, closets, the basement, and the garage. You will fill up your box quickly. Don't keep something for years in case you ever need it—if you're anything like me, by the time you need it, you will have forgotten that you have it and go buy another one anyway.
Take the clutter that is frustrating you and turn it into blessings. Keep the box in a handy place and start asking God to show you who needs to be blessed.
One woman I know, who is a radical giver, got all the things together she wanted to use to bless people and displayed them on her kitchen table. She invited several friends over and told them to take anything they wanted from the table. She urged them to keep on taking until everything was gone.
I encourage you to be a giver and look for ways in which you can use what you have to be a blessing to others.
Love Others Today: I challenge you to start a blessing box before you go to bed tonight. Even if you only put one or two things in it, get it started.

Patience and Kindness

By DR. David Jeremiah – Posted March 2, 2017
Love suffers long and is kind . . . .
1 Corinthians 13:4a
Recommended Reading: Romans 12:17-21
In March 2007, Switzerland invaded its tiny neighbor-nation, Lichtenstein—accidentally. A group of about 170 Swiss soldiers accidentally crossed the unmarked border between the two nations before recognizing where they were. Liechtenstein has no army and wasn’t aware of the “invasion” until later. When they eventually discovered they had been accidentally invaded, Liechtenstein chose to forgive its neighbor and not retaliate.
How great it would be if all such “invasions” in life could be met with such kindness—especially those where our personal space or rights are invaded! Sometimes we are wounded intentionally, sometimes unintentionally. Regardless, the fleshly side of us thinks immediately of retaliating. That, of course, is the opposite of what Paul wrote in his Love Chapter: “Love suffers long and is kind.” Why do you think Paul wrote of patience (longsuffering) and immediately thought of kindness? Perhaps our first response to a wound should be patience, giving time for kindness and forgiveness to come forth.
If you love, you will be patient—even toward those who wound you (Matthew 5:44). While being patient, the spiritual fruit of kindness (Galatians 5:22) is born.
Kindness, like a boomerang, always returns.
