STANDING ON NO-CURSE GROUND

By Joseph Prince – Posted April 05, 2017

Genesis 8:4
Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.

For 40 days and nights, it rained so hard that the whole world perished, except for Noah and those who were with him in the ark. At the end of 150 days, on the 17th day of the seventh month, the ark rested on the mountains of Ararat.

In Hebrew, the word “Ararat” means “the curse is reversed”. The waters of judgment receded, causing the ark to rest on the mountains of Ararat, on new ground where the curse is reversed. And it happened on the 17th day of the seventh month on the Feast of Firstfruits—the exact date that Jesus rose from the dead 4,000 years later!

When Christ rose from the dead, we were raised together with Him. (Colossians 2:12). We who are in Christ our true ark stand on resurrection ground where the curse has been reversed (Galatians 3:13), where diseases, poverty and failures have no right to operate!

A church member shared how God delivered him from cervical spondylosis, a medical condition which causes the neck section of the spinal cord to deteriorate. An X-ray taken four to five years back showed that that area of his spinal cord was deteriorating fast. He was in pain and had to take medicine to manage the condition. And whenever he had a relapse, he would get depressed.

During his last relapse, he went to the doctor, trusting God that he was already healed, had another X-ray taken and was given some medication. He took the medication, still believing God that he was healed. The following morning, the pain in his neck was gone and he was able to turn his head. When he finally collected his X-ray results a week later, his doctor actually told him that his spinal cord looked better than the doctor’s own! The doctor was very surprised because patients with this condition usually don’t get better. God had reversed the curse of cervical spondylosis for him!

My friend, as a believer, you are on no-curse ground. You stand in the blessings zone where it is very easy for God’s blessings to rain all over you!

Thought For The Day

We stand on no-curse ground where diseases, poverty and failures have no right to operate!

Breathe Life into Your Dreams
By Joyce Meyer - Posted April 05, 2017

For a dream comes with much business and painful effort . . .
-Ecclesiastes 5:3

I’m sure this is why many people give up on their dreams somewhere along the way. When they find out it will take effort, be costly and uncomfortable to complete their preparation for the birth of that dream, they conclude it wasn't really God's will after all and go and do something else.
I want to encourage you to go press through the hard part because if you give up, you will never be completely satisfied. Faith becomes stronger as we are required to use it. So how do we successfully make it through preparation and give birth to our God-given dreams?
Here are three keys to help you get there:
1. Be Confident that God is working
Whatever dream God has put in your heart, stand in faith, believing He can bring it to pass. Each day, as you pursue the promise He has given you, make it a habit to say, “God’s working!” You may not know all the details of how it is going to work out, but that’s okay. God knows the beginning to the end (see Isaiah 46:10).
2. Refuse to Give Up
It’s easy to start a process—or to have a dream—but it is much more difficult to see it through. That’s why so many people’s life lives fall short of God’s best. They start to obey God, or they start to move in the direction of their dream, but when times get tough, or they become weary of waiting, they turn around and run in the other direction.
3. Realize Your Dream Is about More Than You
Many times, people dream of things only for them—what they want out of life, or what's best for only them. But Jesus, our example of how to live, gave His life for the benefit of others.

Living With Enthusiasm
By Joel Osteen – Posted April 05, 2017

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace…
Isaiah 55:12, NIV

TODAY'S WORD:

The word “enthusiasm” comes from the Greek word “entheos.” “Theos” is God. When you’re enthusiastic, it simply means you are full of God. When you get up in the morning excited about your future, recognizing that day is a gift and go out with a spring in your step, pursuing your goals and passionate about life, then God will breathe in your direction. Studies even tell us that people who are enthusiastic get better breaks. They’re promoted more often. That’s not a coincidence. When you’re full of passion, you have the favor of God.

Remember, God didn’t breathe His life into us to drag through the day. He didn’t create us in His image, crown us with His favor, and equip us with His power to just go through the motions of life. You may have had some setbacks, the wind may have been taken out of your sail, but this is a new day! God wants to breathe new life back into you. If you’ll get your fire back, get your passion back, the wind will start blowing once again. When you’re in agreement with God, He can cause the winds of favor to shift in your direction!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, thank You for another sunrise, another day, another opportunity to praise You and pursue the dreams You’ve given me. Help me to stay filled with Your joy which is strength so I can serve You with my whole heart in everything that I do in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Mrs. Colville

April 5, 2017
Zion will be restored by justice; those who repent will be revived by righteousness.
Isaiah 1:27 (NLT)
Recommended Reading:  Psalm 119:25-32
During the 1858 Ulster (Irish) Revival, a newspaper in Ballymena reported: “We passed toward the church but entrance was impossible …The number present could not have been less than 2,000. We found a throng assembled about every window, some of them in a fainting state, some prostrate and moaning heavily, some calling on the Name of the Lord Jesus. Many people were humbly kneeling in pews, aisles, and window recesses. The church was not vacated until past midnight.”1
This scene was repeated across Ireland, and the effects were felt for generations. It’s believed the revival began with an English woman known as Mrs. Colville, who came through Ballymena sharing the Gospel but seeing few results. She planted the seeds of a great movement that swept multitudes into the kingdom.
There’s an “I” in the middle of revIval. Revival always centers around the individual. Let’s all be part of planting the seeds of the revival our land so desperately needs today.
Things have been this bad before, and God has sent revivals that shifted the tides… May He do it again!
David Jeremiah
