Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in
glory by Christ Jesus.
Are you facing a lack in any area of
your life, be it finances, health or relationships? Know that in that very same
area, God has already prepared His superabundant supply which will abound
toward you, and on top of that, His grace and more of His grace!
In John 6:1–13, Jesus was with a
large crowd of people who were hungry. The problem then was a lack of food. But
Jesus knew that where there is lack, there is superabundant supply in His
Father’s kingdom to overcome that lack.
His disciples, however, did not know
that. They did not think the same way as Jesus did. They told Him that there
was a boy with five loaves and two small fish, but they did not think that that
would amount to anything. They said, “What are the five loaves and two fish
among so many?” (John 6:9)
They saw only the problem, the lack.
But Jesus took the little, lifted it up as He looked to heaven and gave thanks
to His Father, whose supply is so much more than we can ever ask for.
When Jesus started distributing the
little that was in His hands, a miracle happened. Five thousand men, not
counting women and children, ate as much as they wanted and for as long as they
were hungry!
The supply kept flowing as long as
the need was there. And after they were so filled, there were 12 baskets full
of leftovers! That is God’s superabundant supply. In God’s kingdom, there is no
such thing as the Father not having enough or not wanting to give abundantly to
His children. No, He promises that He will supply all our needs
according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!
My friend, God wants us to always be
conscious of His grace abounding toward us and enveloping us. So let us, like
Jesus, acknowledge God’s superabundant supply by thanking Him for it and for
whatever is in our hands. Let us believe that His superabundant supply will
flow and multiply the little that we have, and fill us up to overflowing!
Thought For The Day
God’s supply is so much more than we
can ask for.
Receiving Forgiveness
by Joyce Meyer - posted

If
we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and
just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss
our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness
[everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
—1 John 1:9
—1 John 1:9
Many years ago, when I was first developing my relationship with
the Lord, each night I would beg His forgiveness for my past sins. One evening
as I knelt beside my bed, I heard the Lord say to me, "Joyce, I forgave
you the first time you asked, but you have not received My gift of forgiveness
because you have not forgiven yourself."
Have you received God's gift of forgiveness? If you have not,
and you are ready to do so, ask the Lord to forgive you for all your sins right
now. Then pray this aloud:
Lord, I receive forgiveness for (name the sin), in Christ Jesus.
I forgive myself and accept your gift of forgiveness as my own. I believe that
you remove the sin from me completely, putting it at a distance where it can
never be found again—as far as the east is from the west. And I believe, Lord,
that you remember it no more.
You will find that speaking aloud is often helpful to you
because by doing so you are declaring your stand upon God's Word. The devil
cannot read your mind, but he does understand your words. Declare before all
the principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness (see Ephesians 6:12) that
Christ has set you free and that you intend to walk in that freedom.
When you speak, sound as though you mean it! If the devil tries
to bring that sin to your mind again in the form of guilt and condemnation,
repeat your declaration, telling him: "I was forgiven for that sin! It has
been taken care of—therefore, I take no care for it."
God-Planned Days

with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own
purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

In ancient times, an ingenious man created a device
allowing him to see through walls. It sounds like science fiction, but this man
invented a way to stand in the middle of his room and see through the wall to
the outside world. He called his invention—a window.
From earliest times, men and women have been inventing
devices to make life easier—windows and doors, buggies and cars, air conditioners,
computers, and untold millions of items. History’s patent office has never
experienced a slowdown.
Humans are creative because we’re made in the image of the
Creator; and if we know how to design objects for a purpose, don’t you suppose
the Creator has designed each of us for a purpose? Your specifications were
ordained in heaven. Your arrival on earth was preplanned, and God knows the
exact number of your days. He has a plan for your life, and He leads you step
by step. We aren’t random mutations of primordial sludge, but servants of a God
who has established our purpose with grace before time began.
Today’s no random day. It’s a God-planned day for His
devoted children.
God has a plan, and it should be our goal to live out that
plan to the best of our knowledge and ability.

Abraham’s Test
By Charles Stanley – In Touch Ministries

Genesis
22:1-24
Abraham
faced one of the greatest tests of obedience recorded in the Bible: God asked
him to slay his son as an offering. It’s hard to imagine the confusion and pain
this request must have caused. However, Abraham obeyed the Lord willingly and
promptly. His response teaches us some important lessons about yielding to the
Lord.
Obedience
often collides with reason. After
telling Abraham he’d have descendants too numerous to count, God asked him to
sacrifice Isaac, who was to be the father of the promised line. Despite the
strangeness of the command, Abraham trusted God to keep His word and so set out
to obey (Heb 11:18-19)
Obedience
means leaving the consequences to God. Abraham
had no idea how the promise could be fulfilled if Isaac was dead. But his words
and actions indicate he believed in divine sovereignty. When Abraham took the
boy to Mount Moriah, he told his servants, “I and the lad will go over there;
and we will worship and return to you” (Gen. 22:5). He didn’t say, “I will
return” but expressed that both would come back. Abraham went to the holy place
as instructed. At the same time, he fully expected that the Lord would somehow
restore Isaac in order to keep His pledge. God fulfilled His promise by pro
viding a ram in the boy’s place (Gen. 22:13-14).
The
Lord already knows how His children will respond to tests of obedience. He
challenges people because He wants them to know the truth about how well they
submit. A believer’s willingness to obey (or disobey) reveals the state of his
or her commitment to God.

Whatever You Do Will Prosper
By Joel & Victoria Osteen

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
"That
person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in
season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers."
Psalm 1:3, NIV
Psalm 1:3, NIV
TODAY'S WORD:
God’s plan is
for you to prosper and be successful in every area of your life. Some people
might say, “I don’t see how you can say that with the economy like it is. All
the experts are saying it’s going to get worse before it gets better.” That may
be true in general, but it doesn’t have to be true for believers in Jesus. We
are connected to a supply line that will never run dry. Don’t be talked in to
having a bad year. The economy is not your source. God is your source, and He
wants to bless you beyond your normal income. He likes to do unusual things. He
can bless you with an explosive blessing! That means, all of the sudden,
unexpectedly, something happens that takes you to a new level. Old limitations
are broken, and suddenly, you find yourself further than you ever dreamed!
The key is found in Psalm 1:1-2. We have to separate ourselves from the system of the world and set our heart and mind on the Word of God. When you meditate on His promises and follow His commands, you will experience these explosive blessings. When you put Him first, you will be strong and stable, and whatever you do will prosper!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
"Father,
thank You for Your Word which lights my path and directs my heart. I submit
every area to You and put You first always. Teach me Your ways so I can walk
with You and experience every blessing You have in store for me in Jesus’ name.
Amen."
