Leviticus
1:4
Then he
shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted
on his behalf to make atonement for him.
Imagine the
perfection of Jesus covering you from head to toe in the sight of God every
moment of the day. Does that sound like a dream? My friend, that is your
reality today because Jesus became your burnt offering at the cross.
In the case of
the burnt offering, when the offerer lays his hand on the animal sacrifice
(Leviticus 1:3–4), the perfection and beauty of the unblemished sacrifice is
transferred to him, and God sees and accepts him in the perfection of the
animal.
In Hebrew, the
word “accepted” implies being treated with favor, delight and acceptance. This
means that you, for whom Jesus became a burnt offering, are treated by God with
favor, delight and acceptance because the beauty and perfection of Jesus have
been transferred to you. As your burnt offering, Jesus has made atonement for
you on your behalf.
Jesus is your
atonement or covering for sin. How precious Jesus is to the Father is how
precious you are to the Father because when the Father sees you, He sees Jesus,
your atonement, your covering.
So every day,
take Jesus as your burnt offering. Come to God and say, “Father, I thank You
that Jesus is my burnt offering. He covers me from head to toe with His
righteousness. I thank you Father, that You see me without spot or wrinkle. You
see me covered in all the value and perfection of the work of Your Son. What He
is to You, I am.
Who He is to
You, I am. As He is now, so am I. I am in Him!” (1 John 4:17)
Jesus has you
covered. You don’t appear before the Father with all your faults and
shortcomings. Jesus proclaims to you what is right with you in spite of what is
wrong with you because He has covered you with His perfection. Today, hear Him
telling you, “Go, girl! I have you covered. There is nothing for you to worry
about!” Hear Him saying to you, “Go for it, son! I am covering you. There is
nothing for you to fear!”
Thought For The Day
You are
treated by God with favor, delight and acceptance because the beauty and
perfection of Jesus have been transferred to you.
Another Victory Is On The Way

TODAY'S
SCRIPTURE:
But thanks be to God, who in Christ
always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance
of the knowledge of him everywhere.
2 Corinthians 2:14, ESV
2 Corinthians 2:14, ESV
TODAY'S WORD:
Are you facing challenges or
difficulties today? Maybe something has happened that could easily discourage
you and cause you to give up on your dreams. I want to remind you today that
where you are is not where you are going to stay. God has a good plan in store
for your future. When you stay in step with Him, you’ll walk right into
victory.
Scripture tells us that God wants to take us from glory to glory, from victory to victory. Even if you are between victories right now, keep your passion. Keep your enthusiasm. Focus on the fact that God has another level for you—another level of glory, another level of increase, another level of His favor.
Today I encourage you, go out with a smile on your face. Give Him your best. When you thank God for what He has done, you are sowing a seed that He will use in your future. Keep praying, keep believing, keep hoping and stand strong because another victory is coming your way!

PRAYER FOR
TODAY:
Father God, right now I choose to focus
my mind and heart completely on You. I choose to step out of discouragement,
step out of complacency, step out of worry, and step in to Your glory. You
alone are worthy, and I thank You for the victory You have in store for my
future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Lest We Forget

Have you tried journaling? Yes, you
say, and it went well for a while, then you got too busy and didn’t have time
to write and write and write. Well, the great thing about journaling is you can
do it your way according to your own schedule and personality. The latest craze
is “bullet journaling,” in which items are jotted down in bullet points,
utilizing lists and homemade graphs and charts.
Some people use a wide-margin Bible to
journal their thoughts while reading through the Bible. Others use journaling features
on their phones. Still, it’s hard to beat the old-fashioned way of using a
notebook to record a few thoughts each morning or evening about your day and
the lessons God gives you in His Word.
When we journal our walk with God, it
helps us remember His faithfulness to us. Our lives go by in a blur, and our
memories fade with time. What a treasure to record answers to prayer, special
promises God gives, and thoughts during life’s crucial moments. Writing helps
us clarify our thoughts, and it leaves a testimony to others.
Why not give journaling another try?
Keep a notebook. Travel with it, eat
with it, sleep with it. Slap into it every stray thought that flutters up into
your brain. Cheap paper is less perishable than gray matter, and lead pencil
markings endure longer than memory.

Come as a Little Child
By Joyce Meyer - Posted May 29, 2017
And He called a little child to Himself and
put himself in the midst of them, and said, Truly I say to you, unless you
repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly,
loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven...
—Matthew 18:2-3
—Matthew 18:2-3
One thing children are not is complicated. Children have no
trouble letting you know what they want, running into your arms when they are
afraid, or giving you a big generous kiss, sometimes for no apparent reason.
They are not sophisticated enough to hide their hearts or feelings very well,
and as a result, communicating with them can be easy and refreshing.
That's the way God wants us to be when we talk to Him. We need
to approach God with childlike simplicity and faith. Just as children are
naturally inclined to trust their parents completely, we also need to be
guileless, pure, and free from doubt as we trust God. Then we can experience
God's miracle-working power and see things change.
We do not want to be childish in our relationships with God; we
want to be childlike. The Lord is not looking for complicated relationships. He
is looking for sincere hearts and childlike faith. He wants us to approach Him
as little children approach people they love. He wants us to let Him know what
we want (see Philippians 4:6) and to run to Him when we feel threatened or
afraid (Psalm 91:1-7). He wants us to show our affection for Him, sometimes for
no apparent reason (see Psalm 34:1) and to share our hearts openly with Him
(see Psalm 62:8).
Love God Today: “Lord, help me to have a pure, simple,
childlike faith and love for You.”
